The RPN-67 NP is a notable addition to the lineup of vintage scientific calculators, serving as the non-programmable counterpart to the RPN-67 Pro. It mirrors the functionality of Hewlett-Packard's HP-67, which was produced between 1976 and 1982 and is renowned for its impressive ability to store programs on magnetic cards. The original HP-67 garnered significant acclaim among professionals in fields such as engineering and science due to its extensive range of functions, merged keycodes, indirect addressing, and other advanced features.

The RPN-67 NP allows users to load and execute 25 original HP sample program cards. However, it does not include the program creation and card management capabilities found in the Pro version, nor the enhanced array of functions and operations. Nonetheless, RPN-67 NP stands out as a highly capable scientific calculator in its own right.
